Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- 1st Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt
- Black Belt under Professor Marcus Norat of Gracie Humaitá
- 16+ years of training
- 8+ years of coaching
I’m a 1st Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, and I combine competition-tested technique with patient, individualized instruction.

I started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2009 and earned my black belt under Professor Marcus Norat of Gracie Humaitá in 2022. I later became an IBJJF-Certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, and I continue to train, compete, and refine my skills.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is my primary focus, but my years of training in kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA have given me a well-rounded understanding of grappling, striking, and practical application.
What matters most to me is helping you make real progress. I work with kids, adults, complete beginners, hobbyists, and competitors. I tailor each lesson to your experience, goals, and the way you learn instead of asking you to fit into a one-size-fits-all class.
I continue to compete because it keeps my coaching honest, technical, and connected to the decisions you face in live rounds and competition.

I start every lesson with the person in front of me. We’ll work to understand positions, practice deliberately, and develop skills you can apply with confidence.
I want you to understand the problem a technique solves, not just memorize a sequence.
I help you build reliable posture, base, movement, and position before adding complexity.
I tailor each lesson to your goals, experience, body type, confidence, and learning style.
I keep corrections clear and give you immediate repetitions so the adjustment becomes part of your movement.
